This Privacy Policy explains how Going38 ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects the information you provide, with particular attention to information collected through text (SMS) messaging.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information you provide directly:

• Your mobile phone number, provided when you opt in to text messages;
• Your consent to receive text messages, and the date, time, and method of that consent;
• The content of messages you send us in reply.

How We Use Your Information

We use your phone number solely to send the messages you have opted into:

• Two-factor authentication (2FA) — one-time verification codes for portal login and account security;
• Pastoral-care follow-up — direct, one-to-one messages you have requested.

We do not use your phone number for marketing or advertising, and we do not send promotional messages.

SMS / Text Messaging Privacy

The only exception is a service provider that helps us deliver messages (our messaging carrier), which processes your number strictly to transmit the messages you requested and is contractually prohibited from using it for any other purpose. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Your Choices

You control your consent at all times:

• Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation, then no further messages.
• Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details below.

Data Retention & Security

We retain your phone number and consent record only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law, and we take reasonable measures to protect it from unauthorized access.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
