Privacy Policy
Effective DRAFT — not yet approved
This policy explains what this website collects, why, and what we do with it. It covers going38.com itself. It does not cover the text-messaging program, which has its own separate policy and terms.
What we collect
The inquiry form. When you use the form on our contact page we collect the three things you type into it:
- your name
- your email address
- your message
The form also carries two hidden values that exist only to block automated abuse: a one-time security token, and the time the form was opened. Neither identifies you.
Operational records. Separately from your submission, we append a short technical record of each attempt so we can tell whether the form is working. That record contains only:
- the date and time
- whether the attempt succeeded, was rejected, or could not be delivered
- the length of the message, as a number
It does not contain your name, your email address, or anything you wrote. We do not log your IP address or your browser's user-agent string.
While you are filling the form in, what you have typed is held briefly on the server so the page can show it back to you if something needs correcting. It is cleared as soon as your submission is accepted.
What we do not do
We have checked the site rather than assumed, and as it currently stands:
- There is no analytics of any kind — no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no privacy-focused analytics, nothing.
- There are no third-party scripts. Every script the site loads is served from going38.com itself.
- There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and no tracking pixels.
- The site does not store anything in your browser's local storage.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your information for marketing.
The only cookie the site may set is a standard session cookie used to keep the inquiry form's security check working. It carries no profile of you.
How we use what you send
Only to read and respond to your inquiry, and to keep the form itself working and free of abuse. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not add you to any list.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reach us through the contact page and we will respond.
You are never required to use the form. Everything on this site is readable without submitting anything.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update it here and change the effective date above.
This is a draft prepared for review. It describes the site's behaviour as verified in the site's own code on 2 September 2026. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not authoritative legal advice.
